Cabinets, drawers and hampers...oh my!!

Lately the boys are REALLY in to opening every drawer and cabinet in the house. We do have the 'dangerous' cabinets kid-proofed but all others are free reign...so they think.

We have been working really hard on teaching the boys not to get into every cabinet and drawer and have taught them to close them. We can now say "close the cabinet" and they will do it. It is not a reaction we get 100% of the time but they are getting much better. Jack is even starting to put things back before closing the cabinets/drawers. They love that we cheer when they do close the doors so sometimes they will continually open and close them just to hear our reaction.

Jack is totally into socks right now. If you look carefully he has a pair of socks stuck in his mouth. More than once I have had to dig pairs of socks out of the diaper pail because, once again, that is a fun thing to open and close. Yuck!!

Here is Jack with his socks and his completely soaked shirt from his drool. Teeth, please hurry up and come all in!!

Some of you may know that I suffer from a slight case of OCD. So, having my Tupperware cabinet completely destroyed doesn't settle well with me. Here is what it looks like after my little munchkins have been in it. However, this is a very light case of destruction, it is usually much worse than this.

This morning, as I was cleaning up the breakfast dishes, the boys made their way into our room. The closet door was open and they found our hamper. They also LOVE emptying my bathroom drawers. Here is Blake with my pajama shorts around his neck digging for his favorite tube of my face cleaner.

And he found it!

Here is Jack with a handful of my jammies looking at his reflection in the shower door.

Don't let the cute faces disguise the mischief they are up to.

Look at this mess!! Also take note that Blake has now jammed himself between the tub and drawer.

Blake has crawled into our room and realized he has shorts around his neck and wants them off.

Peek-a-boo!!

Jack thinks it looks like fun to wear shorts on his head.

The clothes are now boring and it is on to emptying more drawers.

Jack walked into the bedroom and noticed that the armour door was open so he felt the need to close it.
Blake also felt the need to close the other door.

And now he is praising himself for a job well done.

After I stripped the bed to wash sheets the boys had a blast playing in the sheets and pillows. Here they are each with a remote control. They love to body slam into the sheets and pillows.

As you can imagine I am exhausted at the end of every day chasing these two cute maniacs around. Even though it is so tiring and can be frustrating I love every minute of it!!

This could've been an exact copy of what goes on daily in my house too (minus 1 boy). :)
