3 months

Ok, so I am a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad Mom!! I know that it has not only been over a month since my last blog post, but Kate also turned 3 months almost 2 weeks ago. I don't know where the time goes but in between keeping up with 3 kiddos and keeping my house somewhat clean, the blog gets left behind. So sorry!!
Sweet Katie Kaye,
You have been the absolute perfect addition to our family. You are so happy laying on your play mat and trying to grab your toys. You love it when your brothers come and play with you too. Really the only times you get upset are if you are hungry, dirty or overly tired. The tired thing is my fault. With your brothers I was able to keep such a rigid sleep schedule for them. With you, we are keeping up with your brothers and their activities, so your sleep isn't as consistent. You do a great job with it though. You love to just look around where ever we are and take it all in.
You are now on a 4 hour schedule! Yay!!! This makes life so much easier. You are also sleeping between 12 and 13 hours at night! Holy cow, how did we luck out with yet another good sleeper? God knows that your Mama needs her sleep to be able to function so He blessed me with kids that sleep. We have actually been decreasing the amount of formula you have been drinking. You can down 7 ounces every 4 hours but you were spitting up a ton. So we have brought it down to 5 1/2 ounces and adding rice cereal to every bottle. This has helped with the spit up but not eliminated it. :(
Daddy got on the scale with you last week and you were about 14 pounds. CRAZY!!! You are now in 3-6 month jammies and clothes. Unbelievably you can still wear size 1 diapers during the day and you will until they are all gone. :) We had to bump up to twos at night and you kept leaking out so now you are in threes at night. You have lost quite a bit of the little hair you were born with and it looks like it is starting to come in blond. We will see.
You are such a happy girl and just a joy to be around. Your family adores you and are so grateful to God for bringing you to us!
